  • Each cartridge is good for 60 uses or up-to 6-weeks

  • Filter A clean Capresso coffee filter makes a huge difference in coffee flavor. It also helps speed up the brewing process considerably.
A Cup Of Coffee Is Only As Good As The Filter These Capresso water filters change the balance in a cup of coffee in a good way. They seem to take the acid taste away. I highly recommend them as well as the Amazon delivery system. It is difficult to find these filters at retail stores.
They work fine. Capresso's charcoal filters seem to work. Coffee tastes better I think. Very easy to remove and install though I'm a little worried about the lifespan of the plastic hinge on the filter holder.Watch it there are a couple of different varieties. This is a round one. There's also an ovalish one that's mislabeled in Amazon as Capresso 121.01 Ultima SemiAutomatic Coffee and Espresso/Cappuccino Machine[..] The link is for the filters not the machine and so it might not come up correctly when you search for filters.
Great Deal We recieved the filters quickly. The cost was much cheaper than local price for the same filters. We were very pleased.
capresso water filters this is exactly the product i need for my capresso coffeemaker. i can't buy them in my home city any longer.
Water Filters I've been using my Capresso coffee pot for a long time and these are the only filters that fit it. You can use the pot without them if you just use filtered water but these make it easy and usually last a few months.
charcoal filters I am very satisfied with my purchase of the charcoal filters.i wanted a coffee maker that used them and finally found one and couldn't find the filters so i checked amazon and thankfully found themthanks amazon.
Coffee tastes better It's been a long time since I changed the filters in my Capresso coffee maker. These were shipped out immediately and worth the price.
Capresso 4440.90 3pack Charcoal Water Filter We usually use filtered water to make coffee but then since we bought Capresso machine with the charcoal water filters we don't need to do that anymore. The filter lasts 60 uses or up to 6 weeks after first use.
Easy Went to my local kitchen store and twice they were out of these filters. One day went on line and rec'd the filter in a couple of days! Worth the shipping cost.

  • Coffee machine This is a great machine. Very easy to use. Purchased for a church self serve cafe so the ease of use will make it great. Two flaws I have seen and one lie in the description. One it is a little loud which may be ok at home but in a church could be an issue. Two the coffee bean grinder doesn't tell you it is low until it is empty and it has made a cup with only half the beans or less. Wasted cup! The description says it will be sending Illy beans with the machine but they are not there. Not that that is a game changer but if you say you are going to do it.
Love This!! I have already saved tons of money sorry Starbucks! Best purchase I've made in years!! I highly recommend this coffee maker.
Beware DeLonghi Authorized Service We basically love this coffee machine and used it every day. We noticed a funny noise and called DeLonghi who recommended that we send the machine to their authorized repair Appliance Repair Center in Middletown New York. That was about 5 months ago. After about 6 weeks and many followup phone calls we finally received the machine back from Appliance Repairin pieces.Apparently they had not packed it well UPS denied the insurance claim. After more time and phone calls also to DeLonghi service we were told that the repair center was ordering the broken parts repairing the machine and sending it back to us. That was about 4 weeks ago. Two weeks ago when we called again we were told that the machine was fixed and would arrive back to us by the middle of last week. As of today still no machine and no confirmation of when we will get it.Appliance Repair Center is totally unreliable and DeLonghi needs to address this issue. It really makes me sad because I enjoyed this machine and have recommended it many times.
SuperAutomatic awesomeness! We've had our DeLonghi for a couple of months now & love it! It's super easy to use & makes for a quick cappuccino latte or espresso each morning. Looking forward to using this for a long time.
Excellent coffee/espresso/capp machine as long as you follow instructions.. I bought this for my husband as a Christmas gift and it earned its keep within two weeks. I had it delivered to his sister's house where we spent our holiday and we cranked out coffees and cappucinos at least 10 times a day. We have not had any issues whatsoever with it mechanically. One issue we have is purely cosmetic the grate you set your cup on is getting scratched up. Considering the money it'd be nice to see it better condition after only a few months in use. If you're buying this machine I would place a napkin under your cup so you dont mark up the grate. The other complaint I have is one that others have mentioned running out of beans or water before it brews your cup for you. Usually this happened to my husband after I made my cup. Oops! I've made it a point to now fill the water and beans and also empty the grounds before I make a cup. The water container can be a bit awkward to handle especially when its full. For this reason we keep a pitcher of water in the fridge slide out the water tank a few inches til the opening in the lid is accessible and use the pitcher to fill it.I love how you can really get the machine to give you the brewed cup that suits your taste exactly. Through the strength of the brew the size of the grind or the amount of water and milk it dispenses you can get your perfect cup of coffee. We use this every day and love it so much that when we go away for Easter we are taking it with us! Between my husband and myself we use it on average 46 times a day.
This got me into drinking coffee again! This coffee maker is truly amazing. Its quick and convenient. I recommend purchasing Starbucks syrups and whole bean coffee trust me you can taste the difference. Don't forget to purchase descaling solution as the product comes with one sample pack good for one descaling. I also recommend using distilled water to for longest lifespan it hasn't had problems but if you're spend this much on a coffee maker you better be taking good care of it.
Great product It is very easy to maintain and operate and produce amazing coffee. You can make different tastes of coffee for you and your family members.
Best coffee ever I bought my wife a DeLonghi ESAM3300 several years ago and the coffee was so good that even I started drinking a cup every once in awhile. Years later we now have given the 3300 to our son and have purchased 3 of the ESAM3500 model so we can drink good coffee at home at our mountain cabin at the office and at our son's house. Along with a particular brand of coffee we prefer the DeLonghi makes the best cup of coffee we have ever drunk anywhere in the world and we have traveled widely. The only problem is that we are now coffee snobs and need a fix of the good stuff twice a day! Several of our friends have bought a DeLonghi ESAM3500 too after drinking our coffee so the population of snobs is growing. It is important to keep the machine as clean as possible throughout or there will be problems. This is the Ferrari of coffee makers and it needs TLC to keep it performing at its maximum potential.
Good tasting coffee but inconsistent Great tasting coffee still had to return it b/c1 The temperature wasn't consistent and most of the time wasn't hot enough after you added cream.2 It also wasn't strong enough my husband likes Peet's to give you an idea and there wasn't enough caffeine in each cup to give him the caffeine jolt.3 You couldn't really make a regular sized 810oz. coffee. We had to hit the large setting twice to double the dose.Overall expected more for the cost.
One Year In and No Regrets I wanted to give this product some time before reviewing since there seems to be a great deal of reliability and build issues among various manufacturers of Super Automatic Espresso Machines. Given the cost of the unit I didn't want to throw out an initially positive review only to feel differently months later so considered this a calm and reflective review of my own experience with this model.I bought this unit as a Christmas gift for my wife in 2010 and we've used it HEAVILY since then we throw a lot of parties. All in all I couldn't be more pleased and have only a few minor complaints.First the good The machine is a workhorse. We turn it on and off all day frequently make espresso or cappuchino for a dozen or more guests and use this as our sole source of coffee other than the very rare press pot. The espresso is as good as any I've had from a home unit once you find the perfect grind setting for your favorite beans. Very hot excellent crema and a variable intensity that you set. I actually prefer the coffee from this machine over that from a Jura costing 4x more that a family member has. While I was somewhat concerned about build quality given some complaints in these comments I have experienced absolutely no issues at all and have performed no service other than a regular cleaning and a descale every other month or so.The only complaints I have are as follows1. The unit doesn't check for beans before you order a cup and will froth milk before grinding beans. So if you're out of beans and order a latte you're going to get a cup of frothy milk followed by loud prolonged whirring grind with no beans and an error message.

Mr Coffee BVMC FM1 20 Ounce Frappe disappointed

Mr. Coffee BVMC-FM1 20-Ounce Frappe Maker
Mr. Coffee BVMC-FM1 20-Ounce Frappe Maker Read more...

  • 20-ounce dishwasher-safe blending jar; small footprint
  • Frappe maker brews and blends at the touch of a button
  • Removable brew basket; "pulse" button for control over consistency
  • Cross between a coffee machine and a blender
  • Measures 10 by 5-1/2 by 15-1/2 inches; 1-year limited warranty

  • Really great! After wearing out several ice crushing blades in my regular blender and one Professional bar blender that lasted only a few months the kids gave me the Mr Coffee Frappe Maker. I didn't use it for about a year because I didn't like the recipes in the book for one reason or another and I didn't like the thin way the frappes came out.
Runner Up I purchased this awesome doodad due to the fact that I simply LOVE blended coffee drinks they are a guilty pleasure. However like us blended drink lovers we do not love the pricetag of those drinks we get at starbucks or wherever we decidethat being said I made an investment in this machine. Unfortunately due to the fact that I did not have the top lid on properly TWICE this thing definitely made a HUGE mess. It took me three times to get it right. If you practice around with the machine with TIME and not in a rush or hurry then you'll make it work for you.
disappointed The top would not stay on during blending made a mess of my kitchen. I thought it was just me I had someone else secure the lid and the same thing happenedvery disappointed.
Stay away from this item a total waste of money! I am an iced coffee addict and I wanted to love this machine! I used it once I was then hospitalized for several months no one touched the machine in my absenceand when I came home it never worked. It exploded coffee milk and ice all over counter several times. The locking mechanism is poorly designed. Then the unit just died. Since it was just past the warranty date I had to find a local repair shop and was told it would cost $21 to get it repaired if it could be repaired. Brew your own coffee add ice and milk and use a blender.
Best Frappe maker out there! I ordered this frappe machine after watching a friend use her's to make frappe's with. I was so impressed that I had to have one too. It saves a ton of money to make it yourself than to go out and buy it one cup at a time. Works very well and am very pleased with my Mr. Coffee Frappe.
Won't TURN on! Got all the ingredients.put in machine.so excited to try out. Press powerNOTHING! Doesn't workingredients wasted.
Great product Great product. Creates awesome drinks just like Starbucks. I use to spend $30 a week at local coffee joints now make my frappes at home with same great taste. Note make sure you lock the bottom of the container after washlearned this the hard way.
Frappe Maker Fun We gave this machine as a Christmas present to my son who enjoys Frapps with his girlfriend. As a college student we thought they would enjoy cheap homemade ones to Starbucks. The machine does well but is really loud when it blends. The only drawback is the occasional difficulty of getting the parts together tightly and then apart again for clean up. It is working well and makes a pitcherfull big enough for 2 small servings or one large one. Recipe book included for variations.
Not bad at all When I used the ingredients recommended in the included pamphlet the drink tasted great. For the most part it blends well but you have to understand that this is not going to perform like a restaurant blender. You are still left with a few small chunks of ice after blending is completed. When you buy frappes at say McDs or Burger King they are usually blended to perfectionthis machine cannot do that. I still have no regrets and this Mr. Coffee Frappe Maker will save me a whole lot of money down the line.
Excellent I purchased this for my teenagers for Christmas and they absolutely love this Frappe Maker. It makes the best Frappe and is just as good as what you buy as Starbucks. It is a little noisy when it crushes the ice and may scare you the first time or two but you get use to it. I would recommend to anyone that likes frozen drinks.

  • Powerful milk frother
  • Convenient cord storage
  • Removable drip tray
  • Easy to pour decanter
  • On/Off indicator light

  • Very Cheaply Made I have purchased many Mr. Coffee Espresso machines over the years. However this one was very cheaply made. I was very surprised. I ended up sending it back for a refund because when I went to put the coffee filter onto the machine it fell apart in my hands. It appeared that someone had put the screws in too tight and broke it then tried to glue it back together.
Good Machine but blew up I bought the 220v version Oster 3188 of this machine and keep them in two different home out of the US. Other than power requirements and brand on the front the machines are the same.I used my machine every morning for six months. Today after frothing my milk the unit exploded with steam spraying out of the machine. Others have written about this issue. It scared me enough to spill my cup.To be clear I drain the water and release the pressure immediately after every use.I like the machine. It worked well but does take a long time to steam/froth the milk. Even with these issues I will probably buy another one.
major explosion after one year use I have loved this espresso machine for about one year. Yesterday it completely exploded..glass shattering coffee and grounds and metal holder flying in all directions. Luckily by the grace of God I was not facing it but was turned away or I could very well have had glass thrust into my eyes. This has scared me and I am imploring you not to buy this even if you get one year of use before yours may blow up and you are not as fortunate as I was.
Dont buy the ECM 250 model I have had the combo with coffee maker makes lukewarm plastic rubber tasting coffee and several of the other 4 cup expresso mr coffee makers. They were easy to use and made good expresso and frothed the milk well. I wore them out with heavy use and was thinking i was getting the other machine. This has a hard to turn selection knob and the top closure to screw down where the water goes is hard to get properly situated and tight. This one is blow off top accident waiting to happen. I will try to get the other model i dont like the 250 model at all. The other is great for the price.
Great little machine for the price. I LOVE VERY STRONG ESPRESSO. Most people will say it tastes like dreg but i find it DELICIOUS. This machine will do exactly what you ask of it. ive had mine for a week now and have used it every day. Consistent shots every time with a beautiful mild brown Cremá on the top. As far as coffee goes. I live in the bay area and am lucky enough to have one of the finest Coffee Shops in the world just miles from my house. Philz Coffee. I go for the Ether one of their strongest blends and it tastes wonderful out of this machine. DO NOT GET YOUR BEANS FROM STARBUCKS!!!! I must stress this. Starbucks beans sit on the shelf for weeks even months after roasting and lose all the complexity that the coffee should offer. Find yourself a good local coffee shop that roasts the beans in house and you wont be disappointed. Also don't forget to tamp your grounds. If you don't you'll only get strong coffee out of this machine and the instructions absolutely fail at telling you how to tamp your coffee.
Not for someone who really wants expressso This is basically an inexpensive machine for someone who isn't a connoisseur.
Awesome Customer Service and good product OverallIt is a basic Espresso Maker Model that is easy to use. If all you want is to make a few drinks at home for family or friends this is the product for you. I have used it a lot and it's been a lot of fun having a little coffee shop in my own kitchen.Customer ServiceA friend tried my machine and broke a seal by opening the water pressure cap quickly. That is something the instruction manual clearly states to NOT do. Because the seal broke it wouldn't hold pressure to steam anything. I wrote one email to customer service explaining my situation. It was responded to in 12 business days with a solution that exceeded my expectations. I would definitely purchase and recommend Mr. Coffee products.
Have had it for years. I have had mine for 4 years now and love it. It is well worth the money. Although you do have take off the lid on the top and let it air dry otherwise it starts to alter the taste and smells of your coffee. The nosal clogged up once on the wand but it was pretty easy to screw off with pliers and clean. I purchased one of these for my father this year for Christmas because he loved mine so much.
A COFFEE ADICT NEEDS A PERFECT COFFEE MAKER. For me espresso coffee Café Cubano needs to be perfect!!! After all I drink it all day long and is what keeps us all awake at home as well as at the office!!!! After trying different espresso coffee maker brands and always ending up disappointed Mr. Coffee ECM250 4Cup Espresso/Cappuccino Maker did the trick and pleased all of us. After trying it at the office for a month I bought another one for home and my Airman son in the US Air Force asks us to ship him one.
Cheap sour espresso I am espresso noob I called it expresso until recently and I excitedly bought this as a good beginner machine. I got it and brewed my first cup. I gave this machine 2 stars instead of one because the brewing process and preparation is simple and it brews very fast. But I left out the 3 stars because of the espresso quality. I drank my freshly brewed cup and nearly gagged. It was SO sour. Even milk and sugar couldn't make this espresso taste good. Thinking I was just not used to it I Googled how good espresso shoul taste. It shouldn't taste like this. Don't buy this machine if you don't want sour cheap espresso. Go with a pump machine.

Laroma Espresso Coffee Maker Solid and simple

    Espresso Coffee Maker
    Espresso Coffee Maker Read more...

KABOOM!!! I purchased this stovetop espresso maker because I was trying to get away from using the aluminum Bialetti pots that I have. I became worried about the aluminum leaching into my coffee after the pots became etched and pitted. Unfortunately until I found the Laroma there wasn't anything else around that was available in my area except for the aluminum Bialetti pot.I do like the weight of the Laroma and the comfortable molded handle. It is really easy to clean and diswasher safe the aluminum ones aren't. And you don't have to get out a potholder to save burning your fingers when you remove it from the heat. I don't think it makes as good of a drink as the Bialetti but it was worth the sacrifice to have a stainless pot. What I don't like about this pot well it originally was the price that bothered me. $60 whereas the Bialetti pots are only $2529. Ikea has a stainless pot that is very similar to the Laroma. I didn't pick it up to compare when I was there last because I had already bought the Laroma. But I can tell you it was stainless and considerably less expensive at the time it was $19 vs the $60 I spent. The lid on this particular pot I feel is a bit flimsy too but that isn't a real big issue. However my MAIN problem with this pot is the safety factor. When I bought it I noticed that the threads that connect the water chamber to the top pitcher aren't very substantial. The grooves on the threading aren't very deep and are gently rounded. This worried me because I wondered how the 2 pieces would stay connected under the high internal pressure.
great! I've owned a few stovetop espresso makers over the years and this is my favorite so far cool comfortable rubber handles the stainless steel will not corrode over time like another one I bought which was beautiful but made of brass and eventually rusted. Looks handsome works properly and is easy to clean. Also doesn't use an internal rubber seal like the others I've had which is great because a rubber seal can become a mess and I had one melt on me. I guess this one is precisionmade well enough that it doesn't require one because it works perfectly with no mess or splattering.I didn't have the explosion experience that other commenter mentioned if that happened very likely you need to poke a pin through the steam escape valve in the bottom canister or run the device with just water to clean it out. If that bottom valve is blocked it'll make a mess of any stovetop maker. You may also just have a faulty item.Full disclosure I only paid $20 for this at Macy's they have some great deals in the basement especially over the holidays but I would pay $50 for it. At that price I might start looking at espresso/cappuccino machines instead but for a stovetop maker this one hits the bullseye.
What is that STINKY coating?! I scored this beauty at Macy's for twentynine bucks on a preChristmas sale. I was really thrilled and willing to take all precautions to avoid explosions. BUT when I got it home I found that the stainless innards of the pots are coated with something grayish that stinks to high heaven! I'm taking it back no way am I drinking some potentially toxic plastic? epoxy? teflon? with every cuppa. Epoxy is 50% BisphenylA BpAafter all and if it is teflon then why does it stink? Who knows WHAT that coating is?!! Besides disgusting. After combing reviews of these stovetop espresso pots for literally weeks I found one mentioning that a Veg Vivano sp?beautiful espresso pot also has a coating. Too Bad I love the way they look.*Does anyone know of a stainless stovetop espresso maker that does NOT have a coating?? Please post here I am tracking comments. Hoping to find something by Valentine's day.Laroma gets less than ZERO STARS from me for wrecking good stainless steel with nasty undisclosed coating wasting my time and busting my hopes.
LaRoma is great I've had this maker for two years got it as a gift. It does blowup occassionally and spill over but that's due to a lack of cleaning and maintaining that any devise like this would require after several uses. Having once been a part of commertial customer service I can tell you that the 10% of times this will fail is the 90% it was not cared for. Other than that this makes an excellent coffee depending upon the coffee used and a patient and attentive rate of heating it. I have NEVER tasted anything like a plastic coating leaching into this coffee and I was way ahead early 1980's and still promote it todayof the johnnycomelatelys to banishment of plastics in contact with my or my childrens food and drink. So the claim here is unfounded and unless proved with some other evidence than what is provided I ignore it or chaulk it up to bad cofee grounds and part of their packaging going into the making. Make a responsible call to the manufacturer first before slandering their device.
Weak coffee This stovetop espresso maker makes horrible coffee. The canister within which holds the coffee grounds is too small and so the coffee comes out with little taste.
Solid and simple I was actually testing out a new french press to day just to compare its flavor to this laroma percolator. It was a little shocking that people have had this blow up but I have never had any problems with it. I don't have problems with pressure cookers either. Follow the directions and you will be fine. This might be 6 cups of expresso but it makes between 1012 OZ of regular coffee. With any perculator you need to have a coarse grind on the beans so that you dont have sediment in the coffee. If you read the instructions you are supposed to fill the water BELOW the pressure release valve viewable on the pictureits on the side or yeah you might have problems. sometimes I do and sometimes I dont because i'm trying to pull out every oz of coffee out of it. This also uses the amount of coffee very efficiently so this one hitter uses a little under 4 tablespoons of coffee grinds for a cup.As to any coating or plastic film on it I saw none perhaps it was a demo model they then sold. I got this as a gift and have used it every day for the past 2 years.
Attractive inexpensive copetent coffee Very basic coffee maker that quietly and competently brews a cup of dense flavorful coffee. The stainless sieves have pretty wide bore holes so there is a moderate amount of grounds shot into the coffee. Where they rate this as 6 cup is beyond me as the total volume resulting from a full fill is about 2 oz. Still playing with the grind to figure out the best granularity for this thing. Operation is quiet although the base is so narrow that the unit is best placed toward one edge of a small electric range burner but brews nicely quickly and silently at low to moderate burner setting. Easy to disassemble for cleaning.
A passable coffee maker if you don't mind the occasional explosion This moka pot has a bit of an uneven temperament. Ninetyeight times out of a hundred it'll brew up a very nice espressolike coffee but every so often it will um explode. My wife bought this for me as an upgrade to my Bialetti and I'm beginning to suspect she had an ulterior motive.
