  • Awesome but still a letdown in some areas We purchased this machine to replace an Impressa F7. Sizewise and appearancewise they are nearly identical. The C9 is now shiny black with a chrome plate down the front. The biggest bummer about the One Touch machines like this one and something that isn't obvious in the sales literature is that you need to run a special cleaning cycle every time you use the milk frother. This special cycle involves special cleaning fluid 2 cups and a hose. Not a big deal per se but if you forgot someone made a cappuccino in the morning and you go to turn the machine off for the night it will prompt you do run the cappuccino clean cycle. And I'm not sure what you do if you run out of cleaning fluid. This happened to me. I just had to order it and wait for it to come and hope it would be OK.The Impressa C9 doesn't have an illuminated cup area. This is a bummer since the F7 had it and this should be a step up in quality not down. Also the sliding spouts on the C9 seem flimsy and cheap in comparison to the F7. It almost seems like they skimped a bit on some things to offer the One Touch capability.Adjusting the strength and volume of a coffee is a bit more cumbersome. There is a hidden turn wheel behind a door that you have to turn while brewing. Turn it while it's grinding to adjust the strength turn it while its brewing to adjust the volume. If you want to decrease the volume you basically have to stand there and wait for the grinding to stop. On the F7 you could press the button to choose the strength and turn the knob immediately to adjust the volume. Not a big deal but different.Other than that the machine is fantastic. The One Touch makes awesome thick foam with virtually no effort. The milk container is now stainless steel and keeps the milk cold for a few hours. The coffee bean hopper now has a clear plastic cover making the machine slightly more quiet when grinding. Coffee is the same crema coffee you'd expect from any Jura machine. Well worth the money if you like and enjoy coffee. The higher models the J9 and Z7 offer larger water tanks larger bean hoppers and two heating blocks which allow the water to heat faster. Other than that there is little difference. The added expense wasn't worth it to us.
Best Purchase EVER This is an amazing machine that brews perfect espresso cappuccinos lattes macchiatos etc. every time. I think the milk container is a decent size it could be a bit bigger but it all depends on how you like your coffee. The water reservoir is perfect and easy to refill. You don't even need to remove it to refill it. It's very quiet and warms up quickly. I am totally impressed.
Awesome Machine I previously had a Delonghi Magnifica semiautomatic machine which was ok but had issues with it several times which resulted in 3 different returns. After giving up I decided to choose a completely automatic machine and spend a little extra money. I am surprised that there are any bad reviews on this. I love the machine it creates a perfect froth and the espresso tastes amazing. It makes regular coffee even frothier. The only thing I wasn't a big fan of is it's not as user friendly as it claims but it just takes some getting used to.
Over priced junk This is the upgrade for the older model they sold me. The older one was in the shop at least once year for the tune of 150.00 a pop!!They then sold me this unit for an extra 500 and it was doing the samething the old one did. So whatch out for the hidden cost of servicing it once a year .
A really good start to the day The unit is easy to setup initially the DVD is very helpful. The creama on the expresso is really good. Milk container is easy to use and to clean. I would have given it five stars if the expresso were a little hotter and if the boiler was little largerso it did not have to heat so often. My husband and I are really happy with our purchase the learning curve was really quick to a delicious cup of cappuccino or a latte.
Best Coffee and Espresso Center This is a great machine and easy to use. Everyone raves about the espressos coffees lattes and cappuccinos. Even makes great hot chocolate. No messy tamping or clean up. The machine lets you know when to fill beans water or empty the grounds. There is a cleaning cycle after about 200 cups and this is a little time consuming but the prompts are simple to follow. The water tank is of adequate size but for large groups I wish it was a little bigger. Overall this machine is well worth the money. How much did I like this product? I bought a second one for our vacation home.
Best coffee centre ever I like this centre very much. The quality is outstanding. After having a bad experience with the Delonghi and Krups centres I do enjoy using Jura.
Jura Capresso Horrible Customer Service We had a horrible experience dealing with Jura Capresso customer service. After buying a $1200 Jura Capresspo F8 machine and using for 3 years we had to fix it once paid additional $230 a bit less than year later we started suffering water leaks now. So we claled in to ask for a repair with no charges and after long conversation essentially my wife was told by MR Rodriguez lead CS @JC in a very disrespectful manner that if we did not like it we'd better buy another machine/brand or pay the @230 for another fix.So now we're following MR. Rodriguez from Jura Capresso CS advice and we'll probably buy a Gaggia Brera or any other brand cause we do not want to deal with Jura's horrible customer service ever again.
Good But Disappointed also we've had an S9 Jura for over 7 years and made over 6000 coffees with it. It was a trooper and fantastic but sadly died on us so we wanted a replacement. I checked the specs for the S9 and C9 and seemed they were pretty much the same so for the price difference it felt living with a black and slimmer model with slightly less horsepower was a sensible tradeoff. The good1. Quiet2. Small3. Makes a nice cup of coffee if administered well4. Button layout and customization is way easier than the old S9The Bad1. Black is not as attractive as the silver and also shows marks easier2. Water filters are different sizes to the S9 had a stock so that's a little annoying3. All the essentials feel twice as small as the S9 and a pain.. the milk container cannot even support two Lattes the water container is too small and the coffee store is also.4. The OneTouch button makes for a warm and hot coffee so is also a pointless feature IMO.5. Fixed steam spout so with large cups it will be a pain to remove them without spillingWhen we made a coffee with the S9 and new with the C9 we put the coffee in first fill the milk and 3/4 up we switch to steam and give it a blast for the heat. This on either machine makes a fabulous coffee but negates the value of the onetouch. If I were doing this again I'd go for either a cheaper model knowing the onetouch is pointless and if budget is the concern OR I'd sucked it in and gone for the S9 for the added capacity.. For me I wish I'd chosen the S9 as the capacity thing will probably grind on me more than anything else.. but the above will give you an idea of variances. All this said I LOVE Jura for the years we've had them they're reliable provide great service and well worth the investment. I'll begrudgingly live with the C9 knowing I made the wrong choice.. Hope this helps your decision process..
JuraCapresso 13422 Impressa C9 One Touch Automatic CoffeeandEspresso Center Black My wife and I purchased this allinone coffee maker and cannot believe the quality. We're just mad at ourselves for not purchasing one before. How many hundreds of dollars wasted at chain coffee houses and now we have coffee drinks that are BETTER at a fraction of the cost.

Turn the rotary dial to make changes during brewing without changing the programmed setting. Plus, the steam output can be set to a certain time for filling cup after cup with the exact same amount of hot steamed or frothed milk, which means no more wasted milk. With an exceptionally compact design and user-friendly front-panel controls, this automatic coffee-and-espresso center creates cafe-quality coffee drinks without ever having to move the cup. Simply push a preprogrammed beverage button for one or two coffees, one or two espressos, cappuccino, milk, or hot water. The countertop appliance comes equipped with an insulated 14-ounce thermal stainless-steel milk container, which stays right next to the machine and keeps cold milk cold for up to eight hours.
