Died after five months It worked well enough for about five months having its batteries replaced twice until it faltered for a week and then died completely.
Great product We love this milk frother.. We bought one originally at Ikea 3 years ago and this was its replacement after extensive use. For the price this is a great product.
Nice little frother This frother works for what I need it for to froth small quantities of milk for my coffee! It is not high tech and fancy but wonderful for the price. If it breaks in 6 months I will buy another.
Easy Frother I wanted an easy way to froth milk for Cuban style coffee. I looked at many on line and this one looked like it did the job so I bought it. What a great deal! It works perfectly every time and I can't complain about the price! I have been using it daily for several months with the original batteries. Works very well.
I can't believe I can't believe I got this for 99 cents. Although it looked a little cheap when I got it out of the box what do you expect for 99 cents? it works great every time. It's all I need to froth my latte into a cappachino.
Good Product for the Price The product is flimsy and seems not built for long term use. However for the price it does the job that is advertised.
Froth Factor is FANTASTIC Love it and as my husband says What did we do before this? We bought it at Ikea for $2.99 2 AA batteries needed. It is silver colored with no name on it. The froth factor is FANTASTIC to the point that it is sometimes like whipped egg whites. How long you let the frother work determines the thickness of the froth. For general purposes 30 seconds is usually enough and for super thick froth about 60 to 90 seconds. Make sure to use a container that will hold double or triple the original amount of milk cuz like I said the froth factor is fantastic. I use it with cold skim milk then heat it in the microwave keep an eye on the microwave because the froth rises and can spill over. My husband likes to heat the milk in the microwave first and then froth it. Both ways work.COUPLE OF TIPS1 if you go to the store to purchase this bring 2 AA batteries so you can test the frothers. We found that 2 worked perfectly and 2 worked but had a lot of vibration in the handle. Had we not tried the 2 'perfect' ones we probably would not have thought twice about the vibration but with the comparison it was very easy to determine that the vibration was excessive.2 if you check it out on Ikea's website search for produkt because for some strange reason Produkt Milk Frother results in '0 matches'.
Where's the froth? This little frother will mix your milk and make it bubblebut here you get what you pay for. It does not have the power to froth the milk for your perfect cup of coffee tea or whatever you want it for.
Great bargain at a great price I wanted to begin making lattes at home and I found out that Ikea was selling milk frothers for dirt cheap. I got mine for $2. I've been using mine for several weeks now and it works great. I would highly recommend and at the price point after making just a few lattes it pays for itself. Plus it uses regular AA batteries which is nice.
Does not work with Soy Milk This milk frother worked well for about 3 days on my soy milk then died on me. The wand got out of true and started to shake and did nothing to my milk. May work fine on regular milk given that soy milk is thicker but I am going to upgrade to a sturdier frother for my purposes.Three stars because I know my parents use it on nonfat milk and it works for about 2month before they need to get a new one.
